Early Winter Elopement

Sahar and Mike chose to elope at Colvin Run Mill in Fairfax, Virginia earlier this winter. They contacted me a couple weeks before the day and only invited immediate family and close friends. It was a beautiful, warm day for the outdoor ceremony. They had many of the Persian ceremony traditions including the grooms parents giving the bride a gift after the rings where exchanged. It was intimate and touching as they proclaimed their love for one another. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a relaxing brunch in DC.

 

Krystal&Travis

Krystal and Travis got married earlier this month at Oak Ridge Estate in Nelson County, Virginia. They could not have asked for a more beautiful day. The ceremony took place under a 3000 year old oak tree with a 360 degree scenic view of the mountains. The reception was held at the main house which had huge columns and elegant gardens. It was a perfect day for this couple to celebrate their love with close friends and family. I had a blast working with them. 

Krystal had the idea to use this red velvet couch for the 1800s as the set for a guest photobooth.
