Krystal&Travis

Krystal and Travis got married earlier this month at Oak Ridge Estate in Nelson County, Virginia. They could not have asked for a more beautiful day. The ceremony took place under a 3000 year old oak tree with a 360 degree scenic view of the mountains. The reception was held at the main house which had huge columns and elegant gardens. It was a perfect day for this couple to celebrate their love with close friends and family. I had a blast working with them.

Krystal had the idea to use this red velvet couch for the 1800s as the set for a guest photobooth.

Abu&Isha

Over the weekend I photographed Abu & Isha's 25th Wedding Anniversary. I met at their house in Woodbridge, Virginia where they had set up the reception in their backyard. It was under a big, beautiful tent. Family was already there preparing an African feast while children were running around in excitement. The ceremony was right down the road at the Dar AlNoor Islamic Community Center. It was the first time I was at a mosque, and this one was absolutely stunning. We then took pictures in Abu & Isha's neighborhood with family and friends then the reception started. It was full of African music, tons of food and dancing. They really know how to throw a party!

Hi Readers!

So this will be my very first Blog post! I am currently creating my website which is proving to be a lot more difficult then I expected, but I am figuring it out slowly.
Any who, my name is Erin and I am a freelance photographer. As a recent graduate of James Madison University I reside in Harrisonburg Virginia. Film is my passion but I have succumbed to digital being cheaper and in much more demand. If you are in the Shenandoah Valley area then check out my art show currently up at Clementines. This is a showcase of my recent polaroid film work. Here are some examples of what is up!

Please feel free to leave me feedback!
