London & Ireland

In Mid-June of this past summer, I traveled to Great Britain with my boyfriend Alex and his amazing family. Alex and I decided right away we ONLY wanted to shoot film. We took along my Yashica 124g Medium Format,  Mamiya 35mm with a fixed 50mm lens, Cannon 35mm with a 70-200mm lens and a simple Holga Medium Format. Alex had never really shot film before and afterwards he was completely hooked! It was an amazing adventure with beautiful landscapes and interesting architecture. I hope you enjoy the photos!

We landed in Heathrow, London first. Our hotel was the building right next to the London Eye.

After 3 days in London we flew into Dublin. I decided to shoot mostly black and white until we left the cities for the lush green country side.

We stayed right in the Temple Bar district.

We spotted a Space Invader in Dublin!

The Spire of Dublin, officially titled the Monument of Light is a large, stainless steel, pin-like monument 121.2 metres (398 ft) in height. During the day it maintains its steel look, but at dusk the monument appears to merge into the sky. The base of the monument is lit and the top 12 m (39 ft) is illuminated to provide a beacon in the night sky across the city.
Alex's Mom is a Gallagher!

We rented a Van to travel the rest of the way around Ireland.

On Our way to Kinsale we stopped at a beautiful beach.

Alex took some of these photos including the one on the left and he is in the photo on the right!

Kinsale!

Our next stop was through the County Kerry into the town Killarney!

Went to County Clare to the town of Doolin which is right next to the Cliffs of Moher.

We then drove north to the County Galway and stayed at the most beautiful castle in the mountains!
Ballynahinch Castle Hotel, it was surrounded by lakes and hiking trails.

There was 3 dogs that belonged to the property, this one was our tour guide on our hike!

The last day was spent exploring Galway!

Me at one of my favorite places of our trip!
